VILLAGE HALL
We have used this venue almost exclusively for our 'bear artists'. Unique, one of a kind, hand made creations all tempting you to take them home! We are also able to offer vintage bear sales, bear portraits, Festival souvenirs, face painting and our raffle and bear making supplies here.
Whilst inside, do take a look at our competition table and see if you can guess which one the judges will choose as this year's winner. We are thrilled that Jo Rothery (and McBear), The Hon Ralph Montagu and last year's winner Patricia Banks of Dari Laut Bears have all agreed to sit on the panel. The competition is only open to exhibitors and the theme is 'The Great British Summer!'.
Good luck everyone!

FESTIVAL SOUVENIRS
This year we are pleased to be offering a lovely selection of festival items. Some of these souvenirs are exclusive to the day. Festival Bartie, our 2009 limited edition mohair bear will also be available to purchase. Tea towels, cotton bags, badges and even limited edition prints, signed and numbered by ourselves and the artist Jill Fry make this stand a must. Be sure to visit early!
This is also the area you need to be in to purchase your raffle tickets. We have amazing prizes to be won and the draw will be held towards the end of the day. (prize list to follow...)

BEAR IT IN MIND (the shop)

We will be using the shop as our information point for the day. Pop in to pick up a map of the village, a timetable of events or exhibitor list.
The studio at Bear It In Mind will play host to some fascinating demonstrations including Miniature Bear Making with Andy West, Needle Felting Techniques with Sue Southway and Bear Making for Beginners with Patricia Banks.
'Are You a Teddy Egghead?'
Kathy Martin from 'Collect It!' magazine will be putting together a fun quiz for you to do during the day and offering a beautiful bear worth £50 as first prize with two signed copies of her last book as the runners up prizes.

She will also be signing and selling copies of her book during the morning. Thanks Kathy!

SCHOOL FORECOURT
The Vitalise park-and-ride bus service will be dropping off and picking up here. Learn more about this wonderful charity which provides holidays at their hotels for disabled people and their carers, by visiting their stand situated in the Twinning Garden.
Other stands on the forecourt will include handmade cards, jewellery, scented crafts and honey. Christmas Corner, story telling (introducing the adventures of Rugly Puffs, bear detective) - click here to watch Rugly Puffs!

SCHOOL PLAYGROUND
The Friends of Beaulieu School will be offering a lovely selection of bear related games and activities. They will also be displaying all the entries for the 'design a poster' competition which was held in the school including the winning design from both categories. (Thank you to our judges, Jill Fry, Kristen Nesbitt and Vicky Roberts of Beaulieu Fine Arts on the High Street). Do take a look!
PLAYING FIELD
A must for the whole family! With a picnic area sponsored by the girls from Beaulieu Delicatessen, a beer (not bear) tent provided by Reginald Chester-Sterne from The Royal Oak at Hilltop and delicious New Forest Ice Cream, the field is a must at lunchtime. Bring your own picnic or enjoy hot German sausages and pretzels served by Eva and Steffi. There will also be cookies to decorate – bears of course!

Join in the teddy bear workout, the have-a-go roadshow provided by Sophie from Clive's Music and the balloon race. Pick the name of the bear, play the teddy games, explore the fire engine and the police car and visit all the charity stands including the RSPCA and the RNLI. There will be Bradley Bear books by Christine Rix for sale on the RNLI stand.

OTHER HIGHLIGHTS
The second Bartie Convention will be held on the field at a time still to be confirmed. If you are a Bartie Bristle owner, please do bring him along for a special photograph. Let's see how many we can get together!!
Thanks also to John James Photography for their help and support. Don't forget to visit the studio on the high street. Special studio sittings for your teddy will be available.
SEE YOU ALL THERE!
